Already approved according to the new revision 04 of Regulation 44, ECE-R44/04 in effect from 23 June 2005. This revision replaces 03 of 12th September 1995; within two years it will be compulsory for all children's car safety seats.

The base simply and easily clicks into the ISOfix anchorage points found on the latest cars which gives extra rigidity and stability for knocks and side impacts. The car seat belt is then used to hold both seat and child, so no top tether or supporting leg is required as with most other models on the market today.
